Boomi Developer (part-time/hourly)

Work Arrangement / Work Shift: Part-time, hourly, fully remote. Work hours will be scheduled within PST business hours.

Role Overview: Atticus Solutions is seeking a Boomi Developer to design, develop, test and support integrations using the Boomi platform. This role will work with delivery leads, functional stakeholders and client teams to build reliable integration processes, troubleshoot issues and maintain clear technical documentation. The position is well suited to a hands-on integration professional who can manage assigned work independently while communicating progress and risks clearly.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Designing, developing and maintaining integration processes in Dell Boomi, including application, data and API integrations.

• Building and configuring Boomi processes using connectors, maps, profiles, business rules, process routes, exception handling and reusable components.

• Integrating systems such as ERP, CRM, HRIS, accounting, e-commerce and other business applications using REST, SOAP, SFTP, and database technologies.

• Developing data transformations and mappings while validating data quality, field relationships and transaction outcomes.

• Testing integrations through unit testing, system integration testing and user acceptance testing, and resolving defects identified during testing.

• Monitoring deployed processes, investigating failed transactions and supporting production issue resolution in line with agreed priorities and service expectations.

• Collaborating with functional and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements, estimate effort and deliver integration work within agreed timelines.

• Maintaining technical documentation, integration specifications, mapping documents, test evidence and deployment notes.

• Following development, version control, deployment and change-management practices across development, testing and production environments.

What You’ll Need:

• 2 or more years of hands-on experience developing and supporting integrations using Dell Boomi.

• Working knowledge of Boomi integration components, including processes, connectors, maps, profiles, cross-reference tables, process properties, routes and exception handling.

• Experience with common integration protocols and technologies, including REST APIs, SOAP web services, JSON, XML, CSV, SFTP and

• Ability to create data mappings and transformations across different systems and file formats.

• Experience troubleshooting integration failures through process reporting, logs and error messages.

• Understanding of integration testing, deployment procedures and production support practices.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with careful attention to data accuracy and process behavior.

• Confident written and verbal communication in English, with the ability to explain technical topics to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

• Reliable follow-through and the ability to manage part-time hourly work, priorities and delivery commitments independently.

What Will Set You Apart:

• Experience integrating NetSuite, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, SAP or other enterprise business applications.

• Experience with Boomi API Management, Boomi Flow, EDI integrations or event-driven integrations.

• Experience with SQL, relational databases and database-based integrations.

• Familiarity with CI/CD, source control, automated testing or structured release-management practices for integration solutions.

• Experience working with remote teams, offshore delivery models or clients across multiple time zones.

• Boomi certification or other relevant integration-platform certifications.
