The Jr Data Specialist is responsible for managing, processing, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data across multiple systems to support business operations and decision-making. This role involves data collection, cleansing, validation, and analysis, as well as maintaining databases and generating reports for various stakeholders. The Data Specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve data quality, streamline processes, and support initiatives such as reporting, automation, and data-driven insights, while ensuring compliance with organizational standards and best practices.
- Collect, encode, and consolidate data from multiple sources, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Perform data cleansing, validation, and regular quality checks to maintain data integrity.
- Manage and maintain databases, including data uploads, downloads, and updates across systems.
- Generate and distribute routine and ad hoc reports for stakeholders
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, discrepancies, and actionable insights to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and improve reporting processes.
- Support data-related projects such as automation, system enhancements, and process optimization.
- Document data processes, standards, and workflows to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Monitor and resolve data issues or discrepancies in a timely manner
- Ensure adherence to data governance policies, security standards, and organizational best practices.
- Assist with customer feedback analysis and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform additional tasks not covered.
