Helper Mechanic

- Performing oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and lubricating parts.
- Assisting senior technicians with removing and replacing engine components.
- Cleaning and organizing tools, equipment, and the workspace.
- Transporting parts, tools, and equipment to and from the repair area.
- Assisting in identifying mechanical issues and reporting findings.
- Ensuring a clean and safe, organized work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent, often with vocational training.
- Previous experience in a garage or automotive setting is often preferred, at least 1-2 years experience as a helper mechanic or similar role
- Understanding of basic hand tools and automotive components.
- Ability to lift heavy parts and work on feet for long hours.
- A valid driver’s license is often required, particularly if testing vehicles.
