Sales Support Specialist

At Cloud Bridge, we transform how businesses use AWS cloud services. We specialise in Consultancy, Managed Services, Cloud Governance, FinOps and AI/ML to help organisations maximise the value of AWS.

As we continue to grow globally, we are looking for a Sales Support team member to help support the effective operation of our sales organisation.

This is a varied role combining sales support and sales operations , working closely with our sales teams to support deal progression, maintain high-quality CRM data, coordinate commercial processes, provide reporting and identify opportunities to improve how we operate.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive and comfortable working across systems, data, processes and multiple internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Deal Support

• Provide day-to-day operational support to the sales team throughout the sales cycle.

• Help coordinate internal actions and requirements to support timely deal progression.

• Proactively identify outstanding actions, missing information and potential operational blockers.

• Support the preparation, coordination and tracking of customer and commercial documentation.

• Work across internal teams to support smooth deal progression and customer handovers.

• Help reduce administrative workload for sellers and protect revenue-generating time.

CRM & Data Management

• Support the ongoing management, accuracy and integrity of CRM and sales data.

• Maintain accurate company, contact and opportunity information.

• Monitor pipeline data and proactively identify missing, outdated or inaccurate information.

• Support opportunity and account administration, including ownership and data alignment.

• Help ensure sales activity and opportunity information is maintained consistently across relevant systems.

• Support regular data-quality and CRM hygiene initiatives.

Sales Reporting & Analysis

• Support the creation and maintenance of sales reports, dashboards and operational trackers.

• Provide visibility into pipeline health, deal progression and sales activity.

• Support regular pipeline and forecasting processes.

• Monitor agreed sales and operational KPIs and highlight trends, exceptions or areas requiring attention.

• Assist with ad-hoc reporting and analysis for sales and commercial leadership.

• Help turn sales data into clear and actionable information.

Sales Operations & Process Improvement

• Support the implementation and ongoing operation of sales processes and standards.

• Identify inefficiencies, recurring issues and opportunities to simplify existing processes.

• Help test and implement process improvements, automation and new ways of working.

• Support the adoption and effective use of sales tools and technologies.

• Maintain operational guidance and support colleagues in understanding sales processes and systems.

• Assist with onboarding and training relating to sales systems and processes.

• Provide feedback and recommendations to continuously improve sales operations.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with teams across the business to ensure effective communication and coordination.

• Help manage actions and dependencies between Sales and supporting functions.

• Provide visibility of outstanding operational actions and support their resolution.

• Support wider commercial projects and business improvement initiatives where required.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means helping create an efficient, well-organised sales environment where sellers can focus on customers and revenue generation while maintaining strong operational standards.

This will include high levels of CRM and data accuracy, timely deal support, reliable reporting, consistent process adoption, effective cross-functional coordination and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.

Skills & Experience

Essential

• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Confidence working with CRM systems, data and reporting.

• Good Microsoft Excel skills.

• Proactive and comfortable taking ownership of tasks and problems.

• Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.

• Process-oriented mindset with an interest in improving how things work.

• Comfortable learning and working with new systems and technology.

Desirable

• Previous experience within Sales Support, Sales Operations, Commercial Operations or a similar role.

• Experience using HubSpot or another CRM platform.

• Experience producing or maintaining sales reporting.

• Experience supporting commercial or customer-facing processes.

• Experience within a technology, cloud or professional services environment.

• Experience working within a fast-growing or international organisation.
