Accounting Specialist

- Process daily financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare periodic financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual) and assist in budget preparation.
- Maintain and update accurate financial records, ledgers, journals, invoices, and receipts.
- Assist with internal and external audit preparations by gathering and verifying necessary documentation.
- Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve any discrepancies or inquiries regarding financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures and local regulatory requirements.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar role.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong grasp of accounting principles (knowledge of GAAP is a plus).
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel).
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
