Job Summary
Responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving manufacturing processes for heatsink and busbar products to ensure product quality, production efficiency, process stability, and compliance with customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, establish, and improve manufacturing processes for heatsink and busbar production.
- Prepare and maintain process flowcharts, work instructions, process parameters, and other technical documents.
- Monitor production processes and troubleshoot technical problems affecting quality, output, and efficiency.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for process-related issues.
- Optimize production cycle time, material utilization, process yield, and manpower efficiency.
- Support new product introduction (NPI), process trials, validation, and mass production readiness.
- Coordinate with Production, QA, Maintenance, and other departments to resolve process issues.
- Analyze production data and recommend improvements to reduce defects, scrap, rework, and operating costs.
- Train production personnel on process parameters, work instructions, and proper operating methods.
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements, quality standards, and established manufacturing procedures.
- Evaluate process changes and verify their effectiveness before implementation.
- Prepare process performance reports and maintain relevant technical records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferably with experience in manufacturing process engineering.
- Experience in heatsink manufacturing, aluminum extrusion, CNC machining, copper busbar fabrication, stamping, bending, or metal fabrication is an advantage.
- Knowledge of process improvement, root cause analysis, and problem-solving tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and 8D.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, process validation, and quality control requirements.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and process documentation.
- Proficient in data analysis and technical report preparation.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
