About Reclimate

Reclimate is a climate-tech venture focused on scaling durable carbon removal solutions across the Global South. We develop carbon projects that turn agricultural, organic and industrial waste into climate solutions while supporting rural livelihoods, responsible waste management, and climate resilience.

We have proven projects operating across Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, and are now expanding into the Philippines. We are looking for a commercially-minded professional with a background in mining, and ideally exposure to agriculture, to help grow our presence in the Philippine market.

The Opportunity

You already understand mining. Now use that knowledge to help build a new climate industry. As our Commercials Associate – Philippines, you will take on a semi-dual role. You will build relationships with mining companies, agribusinesses, project partners, and other stakeholders, and help develop carbon projects that make use of mining wastes and by-products alongside our agricultural biochar projects.

This part-time role sits at the intersection of mining, agriculture, climate technology, and commercial development. You will work closely with our technical, operations, and commercial teams to turn mining and agricultural opportunities into viable projects and partnerships, with meaningful ownership of business development in the Philippines.

What You'll Do

• Build relationships with mining companies, quarries, agricultural producers, agribusinesses, and potential project partners.

• Identify and develop new carbon project opportunities using mining wastes and by-products, as well as agricultural waste.

• Help assess mine sites and waste streams for project potential, working with our technical team.

• Participate in client and partner meetings, site visits, and industry events.

• Translate technical concepts around carbon removal, biochar, and MRV into clear value propositions.

• Develop proposals, pitch decks, and client-ready materials with our technical and operations teams.

• Own and manage a pipeline of prospects and partnership opportunities.

• Represent Reclimate professionally with local and international stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

• 2–5 years of experience in mining, quarrying, minerals processing, or a related sector. Experience in agriculture or agribusiness is a strong plus.

• Strong familiarity with the Philippines' mining sector and relevant professional networks.

• Understanding of mine operations, waste management, or environmental compliance is an advantage.

• Commercial, sales, partnership, or client-facing experience is an advantage. We also welcome mining professionals looking to transition into climate-tech.

• Strong interest in climate technology and sustainable solutions for mining, agriculture, and waste management.

• Able to engage with technical information and communicate it clearly to non-technical audiences.

• Proactive, organised, and comfortable working independently in a fast-moving startup.

• Strong spoken and written English and Filipino.

• Comfortable using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Hubspot tools.
