Description - Manage purchasing activities to ensure timely procurement of goods and services.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess product availability.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to secure optimal terms.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand purchasing needs and requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other transactions.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience Level: 0–2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong understanding of purchasing principles and practices.
- Skills and Competencies: Excellent negotiation and decision-making abilities.
- Qualities and Traits: Strong work ethic and effective time management skills.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in conducting marketing research and canvassing for suppliers.
