Loan Officer Assistant (Full WFH - US Client)

The Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) serves as a frontend and backend support responsible for assisting borrowers throughout the entire loan lifecycle, from initial borrower contact and application intake through Mortgage Condition processing. The LOA partners closely with Loan Officers to deliver exceptional customer service, maintain compliance, manage loan documentation, facilitate communication among all transaction parties, and ensure loans move efficiently through the mortgage process. Primary Responsibilities: Frontend Loan Origination Support
- Serve as a primary point of contact for borrowers through the application and pre-approval process.
- Accept live transfers from AI and assist in building and managing the Loan Officer's pipeline.
- Review borrower documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Prepare files for Loan Officer review and credit determination.
- Maintain continuous communication with borrowers regarding next steps and outstanding documentation.
- Engage borrowers through company systems and mobile applications.
- Provide exceptional customer service while adhering to company communication standards and scripts.
- Maintain a pipeline of prospective and active borrowers.
- Conduct follow-up activities to convert leads into applications.
- Develop trust-based relationships with borrowers to generate referrals and repeat business.
- Support Loan Officers in achieving production goals.
- Promote a positive borrower experience throughout the loan journey.
- Manage loans after Initial Approval
- Review all underwriting conditions and determine documentation requirements.
- Monitor newly assigned, outstanding, and re-requested conditions.
- Request documentation from borrowers and third parties.
- Ensure all documents satisfy underwriting requirements before submission.
- Ensure compliance with company, and regulatory guidelines.
- Verify documentation accuracy and completeness.
- Adhere to all mortgage lending regulations and internal quality standards.
- Escalate concerns, borrower complaints, and compliance issues appropriately.
