Sales Representative

Responsibilities - Achieves agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Presents, promotes and sells products, both print and digital, to existing and prospective clients.
- Establishes, build and maintains positive business and client relationship
- Develops new account and sustains existing accounts
- Visits clients based on approved itinerary for follow-up, promotion of new products, and strengthening client relations.
- Expedites the resolution of client problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Coordinates sales effort with team members and other departments, e.g Marketing, Product, IMD and CCD
- Initiates the conduct of book fairs
- Prepares and submits three-month itinerary and actual activities
- Submits textbook adoption form to immediate superior.
- Implements established marketing strategies within the assigned territory
- Analyzes the market potential of his/her area, tracks sales and status reports
- Provides management with reports on client needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
- Performs other related functions that maybe assigned from time to time
Job Requirements
Education
- Holder of any degree, preferably in fields related to education or publishing
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years related experience
Skills
- Has excellent selling, communication and neotiation skills
- Has excellent customer service orientation
- Able to establish or maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, and open to feedback
- Able to organize and compile complex information and to prepaare a variety of reports
- Has a solid knowledge of the principles and practices of an effective organization and records management
- Proficient in computer applications such as word processing, desktop publihsing, and creating spreadsheet and slide presentation
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
