Warehouse Team Leader

The Warehouse Team Leader supervises daily warehouse operations, ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently. This role focuses on productivity, safety, and team performance, acting as the link between warehouse staff and management.
Responsibilities
• Lead and motivate a team of warehouse operatives to achieve daily targets.
• Plan, assign, and monitor work schedules, ensuring timely order fulfillment.
• Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards (OSHA, PPE, equipment operation).
• Shipping & Loading— stage, label, palletize, and load shipments for dispatch.
• Returns Handling — process returned goods, inspect quality, and update records.
Job Requirements
• Diploma or equivalent; vocational or college-level preferred.
• Proven experience in warehouse operations (2–5 years).
• Supervisory or team leader experience (formal or informal).
• Knowledge of warehouse procedures, WMS/ERP systems, and inventory control.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and overtime.
