Job Summary
The Accounting Supervisor oversees daily accounting operations and ensures accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role supervises accounting staff, reviews financial transactions, and supports management with financial analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare financial statements and management reports
- Monitor compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and government regulations
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Coordinate with external auditors and support audit requirements
- Improve internal controls and accounting procedures
- Train, guide, and evaluate accounting staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- At least 1-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Proficient in MS Excel and Accounting software / ERP system
