Role Summary:

As the Microsoft Power Apps Developer, you’ll design, develop, and maintain custom business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to analyze business requirements, build scalable solutions, automate workflows, and integrate data across multiple platforms.

You’ll play a key role in transforming business processes through automation, low-code development, and data-driven solutions while ensuring applications are user-friendly, secure, and optimized for long-term scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and deploy custom Power Apps solutions based on business and operational requirements.

• Develop both Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.

• Integrate Power Apps with Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, Microsoft 365, and external APIs.

• Build and optimize workflows using Power Automate to streamline and automate business processes.

• Integrate Power BI dashboards and reporting capabilities within Power Apps applications to enhance business insights and analytics.

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance existing applications to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, SOPs, and support materials for developed solutions.

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project managers, analysts, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Ensure best practices for security, data integrity, governance, and application lifecycle management are followed.

• Continuously identify opportunities to improve workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and optimize operational efficiency.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• 2+ years of experience developing applications using Microsoft Power Apps.

• Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.

• Proficiency in developing Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps.

• Experience integrating data sources such as Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and REST APIs.

• Knowledge of Power BI integration and data visualization capabilities.

• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, OData, Azure services, and custom connectors.

• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Office Scripts for customizations within Power Apps solutions.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

• Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate or other relevant Microsoft certifications.

• Experience working within Agile or Scrum development environments.

• Exposure to automation, workflow optimization, or digital transformation initiatives.

• Familiarity with Azure integrations and cloud-based application development.

• Passion for innovation, process improvement, and scalable technology solutions.

Reporting Line and Working Pattern:

• Reports to: Technology Manager, Solutions Architect, Head of Engineering or Director of Data

• Fully remote, Philippines-based, with collaboration across global teams and time zones.

• Flexibility may be required depending on project timelines and deployment schedules.
