A. Primary Responsibility:
Cashier is primarily responsible for managing all aspects of Cash Management at the Head Office. This includes key functions under Treasury and Credit & Collection, ensuring compliance with company policies and maintaining financial integrity. Core responsibilities include:
I. Payment Acceptance and Deposit
Receive payments and deposit them to accredited banks.
Ensure strict adherence to company guidelines on cash handling and documentation.
II. Issuance of Official Receipts
Issue official receipts for all collections, including cash, checks, and payments through authorized payment facilities.
Ensure timely and accurate receipting of all transactions.
B. KEY RESULT AREAS AND MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
I. Efficient management and control of cash receipts through strict implementation and compliance of the company’s established policies and procedures.
Ensuring the accurate and timely issuance of the Official Receipt, which must be in accordance with the prescribed TAT, for the satisfaction of our agents and customers.
Deposits all collections – money, checks and other forms of collections on the same day or the next banking day.
Safe keeps postdated checks (Warehousing bank) and ensures that this are receipted and deposited on their due dates.
100% collection of creditable withholding tax (CWT) certificates from payors of income.
All information in the CWT are correct, including the computation of the tax.
II. 100% compliance and effective implementation of company processes, policies and procedures, to ensure the timely and early detection of fraud and errors in time. This includes the timely reporting of the following:
Daily Collection Report (DAR)
Tagging of deposit slips to respective bank accounts.
Report of Bounced Checks and inform Credit & Collection as well as the Insured/Client.
Tagging on Premium Receivables Files.
III. Performs other duties as assigned.

COLLEGE GRAD (ACCOUNTING, FINANCE, BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION) OR ANY BUSINESS COURSE REQUIRED
OPEN FOR FRESH GRADS
AT LEAST 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE IN CASHIERING/ACCOUNTING FUNCTIONS
KNOWLEDGABLE IN USING MS OFFICES (WORD, EXCEL,PPT)
ABILITY TO WORK UNDER PRESSURE AND MEET DEADLINES.
