- Clean and Maintain Rooms: Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and clean surfaces in living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and common spaces.
- Laundry: Wash, dry, fold, and iron clothes, linens, and towels.
- Change Bed Linens: Replace sheets and pillowcases with fresh ones.
- Sanitize Bathrooms: Clean toilets, sinks, showers, and tubs, and replenish toiletries (e.g., soap, toilet paper).
- Kitchen Cleaning: Clean countertops, sinks, appliances, and empty trash bins.
- Make Beds: Neatly arrange bedding and pillows on beds.
- Organize and Declutter: Arrange household items and maintain an organized living space.
- Dust and Wipe Surfaces: Dust furniture, shelves, and decorations, and wipe down surfaces.
- Clean Windows and Mirrors: Ensure glass surfaces are streak-free and clean.
- Empty Trash Bins: Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables from various rooms.
- Special Requests: Perform other housekeeping duties as requested (e.g., organizing closets, deep cleaning specific areas).
- Education: No formal education required (high school diploma is a plus).
- Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning (may be preferred but not always necessary).
- Attention to Detail: Ability to thoroughly clean and spot areas that need extra care.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform cleaning tasks for extended periods and lift or move light furniture.
- Time Management: Efficient in managing time and completing tasks within designated hours.
- Trustworthiness: Honest and reliable, as housekeepers may work independently in private homes.
- Communication Skills: Ability to follow instructions and communicate with employers or clients.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to organize household items and prioritize cleaning tasks.
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing cleaning schedules or requests.
