Team Lead, Editorial - Speciality Content, Product - Research

About the Role

In this opportunity as Team Lead, Editorial - Specialty Content , you will:

Supervises, coaches and develops staff
Ensures accuracy, quality, and timeliness of the team's goals and objectives
Assigns and delegates work to staff
Responsible for meeting assigned schedules and targets
Participates in performance management process for direct reports
Builds and maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders and customers
Acts as primary resource for the team’s work, products and processes
Provides day-to-day supervision of work activities to meet product and quality standards and targets
Monitors workflow for team or assigned area
Prepares production and administrative reports as needed
Identifies training needs and coordinates training activities
Provides input into hiring and promotional decisions
Participates in process improvement initiatives at the team level
Effectively communicates across various levels of the organization

About You

You're a fit for the role of Team Lead, Editorial - Specialty Content if your background includes:

Bachelor’s (or higher) degree or equivalent
Strong preference for legal, tax or related education or experience
Preference for having content management, editing, and publishing experience
Focusing on customers
Seeking opportunities to learn, grow, develop others, and act as a role model
Ability to prioritize and stay focused while dealing with multiple tasks and changing priorities
Fluency in English speaking, reading, and writing
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and assists others to accomplish objectives as required
Ability to communicate effectively with all contacts:
Working and managerial knowledge of a department
Basic understanding of relationships between functions within the company
Working knowledge of relevant industry issues
Spends significant time managing a team that delivers results
Solves complex problems and takes new perspectives using existing solutions
Makes recommendations that may shape operational strategy
Aligns goals with established business objectives; uses time and people effectively to meet business plans
Identifies and resolves technical, operational and organizational problems of moderate complexity
Adapts traditional approaches to enhance existing procedures to resolve issues
Explains difficult concepts and influences others to adopt a point of view for ideas and initiatives
Interacts and negotiates effectively with internal or external customers to provide solutions
Addresses employee concerns by providing accurate information to reduce conflict or concern within workplace
Takes action to address employee grievances
