About the Role

We are seeking a Java Backend Engineer to join our collaborative engineering team. In this role, you will focus on the health and evolution of our Java-based applications, ensuring they remain reliable and efficient. We are looking for a dedicated professional who enjoys resolving technical challenges and feels comfortable working within an Oracle Database environment to support essential business functions.

What You’ll Do

Maintain the stability of Java-based applications to ensure a reliable and seamless user experience.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues through thoughtful root cause analysis and sustainable fixes.
Collaborate with Business Analysts to develop and deliver application enhancements and change requests.
Create and update clear technical documentation and runbooks to facilitate team knowledge sharing.
Uphold high standards for security, inclusive coding practices, and overall technical excellence.

️ What You’ll Need

Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in Java and backend frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, and JPA.
Data Proficiency: Solid experience working with OracleDB (SQL/PLSQL) to manage and organize application data.
Analytical Thinking: A proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving complex system behaviors and defects.
Valued Skills: Knowledge of security vulnerabilities (Sonar/SQLi), frontend basics (JS/HTML), or migration experience.
Professional Background: At least 2 to 3+ years of experience in professional Enterprise Java development.
