Job Title: CPA Accountant

Location: Davao City, Philippines

Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 2-5 years of experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. As a CPA Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting financial decision-making processes and ensuring the accuracy of financial data for our company.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure financial reports are accurate, timely, and in compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
Conduct financial analysis and provide insights on financial performance to management.
Taxation:
Prepare and file tax returns (e.g., VAT, income tax, withholding tax) and ensure compliance with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) regulations.
Monitor and manage tax liabilities, ensuring the company’s tax payments are up to date.
Audit & Compliance:
Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring the company’s financial records are accurate and comply with applicable laws.
Implement and enforce company accounting policies and procedures.
General Accounting:
Oversee the preparation of journal entries, ledgers, and account reconciliations.
Ensure proper management of accounts payable and receivable.
Manage and verify payroll accounting and related reports.
Financial Planning & Budgeting:
Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts.
Monitor and analyze budget performance and variances.

Ideal Profile

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Licensure: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
Experience: 2-5 years of professional experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a corporate setting.
Skills:
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or other similar systems) and MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, financial regulations, and accounting principles.
Ability to analyze financial data and generate detailed reports.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High level of integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information.
