We are in urgent need of knowledgeable and experienced Marine Engineering Instructors to join our highly skilled Faculty to be designated at CELTECH COLLEGE OLONGAPO Branch. This is an exciting opportunity to not only deliver current courses but to also develop an engineering program to enhance the knowledge and meet the needs of our students. Duties and responsibilities:

Preparation of course equipment and resources for both theoretical and practical elements ensuring everything is in full working order.
To ensure that all students have the relevant pre-course entry requirements.
To strive to ensure all students are competent and meet the required standards set out by the awarding body.
To work collaboratively with the rest of the team to deliver consistent and high standard training courses.
Teaches along the field of specialization and/or subject areas assigned by the immediate supervisor;
Prepares relevant course syllabi and instructional guides and materials;
Keeps updated on the latest trends and techniques of instruction specifically in the field of specialization;
Evaluates students’ performances based on the standards and criteria set by the College;
Performs basic guidance functions to assist students in their personal and social adjustment to college life;
Participates in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities approved by the College;
Attends relevant meetings, conferences, in-service training and related activities;
Conducts himself/herself in manner that elicits the respects of the college community;
Participated in the research and development;
Submit Grades, IG and Test paper according to the schedule set by the institution
Performs related functions assigned by the immediate supervisor and/or CELTECH College management

Requirements: To apply for the role of Marine Engineering Instructor it is essential you have:

Previous experience in the Maritime industry with an Engineering role.
A BS degree in Marine Engineering

6.09 – Training Course for Instructors
6.10 - Training Program for Instructor & Assessor conducting Simulator- Based Training & Assessment
3.12 - Assessment, Examination and Certification of Seafarers
Preferably MS/MA degree in the field of specialization
