The Iberian coverage team is part is part of the J.P. Morgan Payments Europe Sales Bank & Broker-Dealer's team. We cover Banks, Non-Bank Financial Institutions and Public Sector entities for Spain, Portugal and Andorra. Responsibilities include managing existing client relationships, building new business and preparation of marketing material with various product areas of Core Cash, Liquidity Management, Foreign Exchange (FX), Trade Finance, Escrow, as well as the Merchant Services and Commercial Card product teams, and also with the Legal, Compliance and Know Your Customer teams. The team works closely with the Global Corporate Bank to manage firmwide client relationships.

As a temporary Analyst in Payments Financial Institutions Group FIG in our Iberian Sales payments team based in Madrid, Spain, you will be part of the local coverage team working closely with the local and regional Payments team and Corporate Banking teams, as well as with clients and internal partners oversees, assisting them with the development execution and service of client relationships.

Job responsibilities

Share in the Team's responsibility for growing revenue, profitability and developing client relationships
Support Treasury Sales Manager (TSM) in the preparation of proposals and presentations for existing clients and prospective customers
Support TSM in end-to-end service delivery to clients including on-boarding and implementation
Support TSM in KYC/AML responsibilities including on KYC renewals and management of the compliance enquiry process with clients
Support TSM in analysing client activity versus expectations, monitor client performance and provide business reporting
Partner with Client Service, Compliance, Credit, Legal, Operations, Product, Risk and other functions including Senior Bankers to optimize product and service delivery to clients
Be involved in the preparation of client account plans, senior officer briefing memos and portfolio management reporting
Coordinate business priorities together with Iberia coverage team
Work with Sales Officers to prepare and review marketing material (pitch books, presentations and slip sheets) for Sales ensuring clarity, accuracy and consistency

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

Bachelor's degree or similar with outstanding academic credentials
Fluent in Spanish and high level of English is essential
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High service orientation, hands-on approach, high integrity, high level of motivation, dependability, intelligence & a team player, commercial mind-set and business approach
Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively across different seniority levels and businesses
Ability and desire to develop client and technical skills
Organized and disciplined with the ability to handle multiple priorities and to act with own initiative
Ambition, drive and a "can-do" attitude with focus on delivery and execution
Proficiency in MS Office suite of applications (particularly Power Point and Excel) and SharePoint

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

Working experience in sales, preferably in Financial Services, is an advantage.
