Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shopify Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Shopify websites to deliver a high-quality user experience and drive business growth. This role requires a strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, Shopify’s platform (including Shopify Plus), and the ability to implement custom solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify stores, themes, and apps.
Design and implement responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.
Integrate third-party apps and APIs to extend Shopify functionality.
Optimize website performance, page speed, and mobile responsiveness.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across Shopify stores.
Collaborate with design, marketing, and content teams to align store functionality with business goals.
Create custom features or sections based on unique business needs.
Conduct A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
Maintain version control using Git or similar tools.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify features, trends, and best practices.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience developing and managing Shopify stores.
Proficiency in Shopify Liquid templating language.
Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
Experience with Shopify APIs and third-party integrations.
Understanding of SEO, site performance optimization, and e-commerce UX/UI principles.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub).
Experience with Shopify Plus (preferred but not required).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with headless commerce (Shopify Hydrogen or similar frameworks).
Knowledge of backend technologies (Node.js, GraphQL, etc.).
Familiarity with payment gateways, fulfillment, and logistics integrations.
Experience in using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch for design collaboration.
Previous work in digital marketing, conversion optimization, or analytics.
