The Sales Development Manager is responsible for increasing the portfolio of commercial clients by selling and marketing pest elimination services to existing clients and new business, at a price that is profitable to Ecolab and competitive within the market.

Identify sales opportunities for new service contracts, seasonal and job work for pest elimination services to achieve sales budget.
Communicate and report sales activity in sales reports as directed for new business gains and additional business growth from existing accounts.
Work closely with other Ecolab associates and division to identify sales opportunities of Pest Elimination Services to existing Ecolab accounts.
Participate in marketing and sales blitz programs as directed.
Management and communication of price reviews for existing accounts to ensure the level of sales is profitable
Liaise with the Field Sales Manager & Field Operations Manager for all new installations.
Complete individual performance appraisals and development plans.
Ensure full compliance with the stated policies and procedures of Ecolab.
Adhere to company and customer OHS policies, procedures and rules and follow safe work practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Entomology, Food Technology or other related course
At least 5 years of relevant work experience Previous direct sales experience selling technical services in B2B sales environment.
Knowledge of the pest industry, food safety, hygiene and sanitation systems.
Marketing skills to build brand awareness, value proposition and pricing and service concepts.
Positive and enthusiastic approach to selling and managing customer expectations with all stakeholders.
Driver’s license
