As a Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process within our organization. Your primary duties include will include sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services required for our operation. You will collaborate with different departments ensure timely and cost-effective procurement while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedure.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management Commerce, Economics or any related course.
At least one (1) year practical experience in procurement setting or management.
Has wide knowledge in sourcing, negotiation, contract management and supplier relationship management.
Strong organizational and management skills.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in office software especially excel.
Good working ethics

Role and Responsibilities :

Sourcing and Supplier Management
- Identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
- Negotiate terms, pricing and contracts with suppliers.
- Maintain Strong relationship with existing suppliers.
Purchase Order Processing:
- Create and process purchase orders.
- Monitor order status and delivery timelines.
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to orders.
Inventory Management
- Monitor stock levels and reorder as needed.
- Optimize inventory levels to minimize costs.
Cost Control :
- Analyze procurement costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Implement cost-effective procurement strategies.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with the company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities.
Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (such as finance and logistics, operations and logistics).
- Provide procurement support to other department.
Accounting and Receipt of goods:
- Receive and record goods, collect documents and organize lists and writes off.
