install, configure, upgrade, backup, and monitor databases;<\/li><li>Refine processes to continue our focus on performance, availability and security;<\/li><li>Working closely with development team to troubleshoot production issues that arise as well as providing guidelines and directions;<\/li><li>Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors;<\/li><li>Install and maintain the performance of database servers;<\/li><li>Install, upgrade, and manage database applications;<\/li><li>Set and maintain database standards;<\/li><li>Responsible for user administration and governance to ensure all access to database are fully managed and documented;<\/li><li>Manage database access.<\/li><\/ul>\n    \n    \n    \n        <h3 class=\"has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"color:#1c7ebc\">Requirements:<\/h3>\n    \n\n    \n        <ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Can keep a cool head under pressure;<\/li><li>Must have a minimum of 3 years related working experience;<\/li><li>Knowledgeable in IIS servers, apache and nginx;<\/li><li>Can produce a 2 minute screencam video explaining some technical issue of choice;<\/li><li>Requires strong knowledge in structured query language (SQL), UNIX and database management systems (DBMS);<\/li><li>Portrays good leadership skills;<\/li><li>Familiar with main data manipulation languages and the principles of database design;<\/li><li>Must be willing to attend video conferences from time-to-time;<\/li><li>Cisco Networking (CCNA);<\/li><li>Any bachelors degree or equivalent experience;<\/li><li>General understanding of DDL, DML, DFDs;<\/li><li>General understanding of System integrations;<\/li><li>Amenable to work in a mid-shift schedule;<\/li><li>Create and understand simple SQL Queries for PostgreSQL (SPs, Functions, Views);<\/li><li>Proficient in administering Microsoft SQL &#038;
