Our company is looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Arrange for the demonstrations of products and provide presentations as an aid to selling;
  • Attends regular weekly Marketing Meeting;
  • Assist office personnel in resolving problems and clarifying details connected with field sales activities;
  • Take effective action on any customer issues;
  • Submits list of sales leads to Senior Manager for a schedule of visits;
  • Monitors and make follow-ups on the submitted proposals and update the status;
  • Makes a follow-up regarding the status of sales leads;
  • Attends client meetings related to project information;
  • Assists in the preparation of Bid documents and submittals;
  • Maintain daily records of activities, such as call reports and project pipeline;
  • Reports on the status of the sales lead and discuss with the marketing group weekly;
  • Prepares reports on any updates on the sales leads;
  • Continually review sales efforts and results concerning forecasts or potential of the territory;
  • Assists in the retention of customer accounts;
  • Prepares the Sales Report and monitor Purchase Orders received.

Requirements:

  • Must have the ability to drive to customer locations to establish rapport, as well as deliver a product in person when necessary;
  • Excellent computer skills and experience working with MS Office;
  • Well exposed to Construction Services, Sales and Marketing and Estimating;
  • Preferably with a background in an industrial plant, jetty, ports, harbor, general building works or real estate or property development;
  • Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience in the manufacturing industry;
  • At least five years in sales and marketing and 10 years experience with a construction company;
  • Valid driver’s license required;
  • Willing to work in Metro Manila;
  • Required to travel to the South Region of Malaysia for 2 weeks per month;
  • Previous development of sales territory experience and channel management preferred;
  • BS Engineering or related course graduate;
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure;
  • Solid time management, prioritisation and organisational skills;
  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, Technical, Business or related experience.
