Our company is looking for a Finance Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails;
  • Perform diversified business financial administrative duties;
  • Help oversee and manage individual account;
  • Manage and coordinates and processed vendor’s purchase orders, invoices, payments;
  • General Book keeping;
  • Daily approval for daily encashment;
  • Increase productivity by developing automated accounting applications; coordinating information requirements;
  • Deposit customer payments;
  • Prepares monthly financial statements;
  • Performs other functions as may be assigned from time to time by the immediate Supervisor;
  • Other tasks as required by financial controller;
  • Record Bank Statements and ensure properly reconciled transactions every month;
  • Monitors, reconciles, and prepares aging of receivables and payables;
  • Monitors, reconciles, and regular inventory reporting;
  • Responsible for tracking outstanding creditor invoices not yet approved by logistics department.

Requirements:

  • Detail oriented;
  • Attention to detail – most finance associates review and prepare reports and financial statements, so a keen and observant eye is crucial;
  • Strong interpersonal Relationship Skills, able to interface at all levels of the organization and building trust;
  • Work experience as a Finance Assistant, Finance Officer or similar role;
  • Proficient in computing tools, esp. Ms Office (Excel, Powerpoint), Basic SAP knowledge;
  • Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem-solving skills;
  • Male/Female;
  • Must be self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, and attention to detail;
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software and/or other financial tracking systems preferable (i.e. QuickBooks/Xero);
  • Team player with a sense of responsibility and ownership;
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions);
  • Accounting qualification, or equivalent Finance/Accounts experience;
  • Good organizational skills;
  • Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors;
  • Willing for a project based position.
