Technical Trainer Job Description Template

Our company is looking for a Technical Trainer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Consulting experience is a must;
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills;
  • Coordinates with Business Unit Managers and Engineers for training;
  • Deliver and facilitate product training without supervision;
  • Flexible, detailed, and able to successfully accept change;
  • Learn new features and training materials that correspond with each major product release;
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and written and verbal communication skills;
  • Travel, as needed, for onsite, private training classes;
  • 2+ years experience in Programming or Application Development;
  • Coach participants through lab exercises and troubleshoot any issues that arise;
  • 3+ years experience in a Training / Instructional delivery role;
  • Experience in Java EE or PHP framework, preferably backend type;
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent;
  • Demonstrated;
  • Stores and maintains training and trainees recors in their respective databases.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of Integration Principles and Concepts;
  • A degree related to Training Delivery or relevant experience;
  • At least 1 year experience teaching C/C++, Android Programming, Linux , Device Drive Development in the academe;
  • Experience in middleware/ESB technologies is an advantage (MuleSoft ESB, JBoss, webMethods, Tibco, IBM Websphere, Oracle SOA, etc);
  • Flexible, detailed, and able to successfully accept change;
  • Demonstrated abilities to establish, develop, and maintain productive business relationships;
  • Good communication and presentation skills;
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills;
  • Must be a Bachelor’s degree holder in any Computer related degree;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills;
  • Strong analytical and planning skills;
  • At least 2 years of actual development experience (C/C++, Android, Arduino etc.);
  • Experience with a consultancy company is desirable;
  • Language skills other than English;
  • 3+ years experience in a Training / Instructional delivery role.
