Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for managing the preparation and distribution of periodic financial statements for external use. Ensures that reports, filings and documentation complies with company’s regulations, professional standards, and SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines. Being a Financial Reporting Manager manages the financial reporting staff May work with external auditors to provide requested information. May assist with the preparation of materials for board or shareholders. Additionally, Financial Reporting Manager requires a bachelor’s degree of Accounting or Finance. Typically reports to top management. The Financial Reporting Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Our company is looking for a Reporting Financial Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all systems (SRM, FRS, Accpac) are maintained without compromising financial effectiveness;
  • Implementation of practical internal controls and their continued effectiveness;
  • Ensure a high standard of financial accounting and reporting;
  • Reviewing the accounting records of the business i.e. general ledger with full month end accounting process and reconciliations;
  • Consolidate and review the regional monthly results and reporting on variances against budget and prior year for all schools in the region;
  • Assist in financial aspects of integration post-acquisition of new schools;
  • Implement and maintain a high standard of internal controls;
  • Monthly reporting of the entities’ results and reporting of these to the Executive and Management teams;
  • Year-end results processes, including the full external audit process and the preparation of IFRS compliant packs across the Group;
  • Assist in the review of insurance policies and coordination with insurance agents/brokers for cover and other arrangements;
  • Ensure that the company is effectively administered and to resolve day-to-day Business Financial and Administration issues;
  • Management of client agreements and other operating expenses.

Requirements:

  • Able to work accurately under pressure;
  • Good computer system capabilities (Accpac and Excel);
  • High attention to detail;
  • Strong knowledge of accounting practices, bookkeeping principles and tax;
  • Ethical and honest;
  • Have experience in working with Foreign Companies;
  • Good business communication skills;
  • Delivery orientated self-starter;
