Media Liaison Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Media Liaison to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the company protects and promotes its image in a proper, coordinated, and consistent manner;
- Prepare articles, press kits and press releases for the media;
- Develop relationships with national and regional press contacts to ensure the company reputation is promoted and to deflect criticism;
- Prepares summaries of media activity for senior management;
- Expand understanding of the organization’s business, performance, and strategy;
- Plan and oversee press events;
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the relations between the media and the organization;
- Act as a media spokesperson on behalf of the company and address questions and complaints;
- Manage the flow of news about the organization to the media.
Requirements:
- Experience with integrated marketing and social media;
- Excellent English communication skills;
- Bachelor’s degree in communications or other related fields;
- Work experience in leading mainstream news publications is strongly preferred;
- Willing to work in Cyberjaya;
- Must be able to work independently or with others;
- Must be proactive, hardworking and able to meet deadlines;
- 3 years of international exposure is strongly preferred (Work / Study);
- Excellent public relation and time management skills;
- At least 3 years of work experience.
