Our company is looking for a Media Liaison to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the company protects and promotes its image in a proper, coordinated, and consistent manner;
  • Prepare articles, press kits and press releases for the media;
  • Develop relationships with national and regional press contacts to ensure the company reputation is promoted and to deflect criticism;
  • Prepares summaries of media activity for senior management;
  • Expand understanding of the organization’s business, performance, and strategy;
  • Plan and oversee press events;
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the relations between the media and the organization;
  • Act as a media spokesperson on behalf of the company and address questions and complaints;
  • Manage the flow of news about the organization to the media.

Requirements:

  • Experience with integrated marketing and social media;
  • Excellent English communication skills;
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications or other related fields;
  • Work experience in leading mainstream news publications is strongly preferred;
  • Willing to work in Cyberjaya;
  • Must be able to work independently or with others;
  • Must be proactive, hardworking and able to meet deadlines;
  • 3 years of international exposure is strongly preferred (Work / Study);
  • Excellent public relation and time management skills;
  • At least 3 years of work experience.
