Our company is looking for a Area Business Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide input into the design and development of the new approaches/processes aimed at increasing performance;
  • Provide clear direction of the Sales and Service business objectives translating and prioritizing it into business performance measures;
  • Visibly lead and sponsor Retail Change initiatives ensuring minimum disruption and taking accountability to ensure agreed benefits realization;
  • Shape the segment propositions and marketing to support performance growth;
  • Deliver retail performance in line with agreed targets against the area performance scorecard;
  • Provide customer service and retention solutions for the area;
  • Provide control framework to optimize productivity and manage costs;
  • Take ultimate accountability for the management of Sales, operational support and business development services.

Requirements:

  • Honours Degree in Business Management, Finance or Banking;
  • In-depth understanding of technical support systems;
  • Master’s Degree will be an advantage;
  • Matric;
  • Regulatory Examination (RE05) qualification is essential, however, RE01 will be an advantage;
  • At least 8 years’ relevant experience, extensive retail experience;
  • 5 Years’ in-depth knowledge of the full Retail Banking.
