Our company is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Electronic qualifications normal and phase N3 essential;
  • Mechanical equipment, electronics and gear boxes;
  • Refrigeration knowledge and experience would be beneficial;
  • Industrial refrigeration systems;
  • Maintain and update service, maintenance and repair schedules and records, files and registers;
  • Able to work long hours, after hours and weekends;
  • Fitting and turning background;
  • Forklifts, mobile racking and buildings;
  • General maintenance and repairs;
  • Able to work under pressure and in sub-zero temperatures;
  • Own reliable transport is essential;
  • Matric/Grade 12;
  • Code 8 or a PDP;
  • Trouble shooting electronic components;
  • Computer literate.

Requirements:

  • Possess SPM/ Cert. of Mechanical Engineering;
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply;
  • Electronic qualifications normal and phase N3 essential;
  • With background/knowledge in troubleshooting and repairing of machines;
  • Knowledgeable in PLC Machine;
  • Trouble shooting electronic components;
  • Have a valid driver’s licence;
  • Be able to work shifts and be available for standby schedule;
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification;
  • Ability to solve problems and find solutions;
  • Preferably Electronics Technician and/or Electrical Technician;
  • Must be well- organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks;
  • Ability to cope under pressure;
  • Exhibit good mechanical skills to handle equipment to avoid causing injuries to self and others on ground;
  • Must have electrical and HVAC experience.
