Our company is looking for a Teacher to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with parents every semester to discuss their childs performance and submit written report to the educational supervisor;
- Perform any other related tasks assigned by the educational supervisor;
- Teach alphabet and numeracy along with personal, social and emotional skills;
- Assess the students periodically across all domains and at the beginning and end of each academic year;
- Prepare materials required for the students before their arrival including flash cards and games and other educational materials;
- Assess the performance of the assistant teacher at the end of the academic year in collaboration with the educational supervisor;
- Assess students performance and progress to ensure they are mastering the skills on regular basis;
- Design and follow a complete teaching plan;
- Cooperate with administration staff;
- Organize classrooms in accordance with model standard and establish tasks and duties for the assistant teacher;
- Monitor children’s interactions and nurture cooperation and sharing;
- Supervise and manage the assistant teacher and ensure that he or she is carrying out all duties at the required level;
- Maintain an open line of communication with parents and provide appropriate information;
- Follow and comply with teaching standards and safety regulations;
- Manage the assigned classroom responsibly according to a carefully developed education plan.
Requirements:
- Proven working experience as a kindergarten teacher, kindergarten assistant or teacher aide;
- Strong communication skills;
- Excellent knowledge of child development and latest education theories and practices;
- Keep abreast with the latest trends and best practices;
- Ability to interact positively with the students and their parents;
- Team Player;
- Diploma or Degree preferably in Education;
- Bachelors in Special Education with 3 to 5 years experience;
- Patience and flexibility;
- Self Starter with ability to motivate the students;
- Specialized training in Special Education;
- Teaching and organisation skills;
- Creative and artistic teaching abilities;
- Computer proficiency.
