Software Quality Assurance Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Software Quality Assurance to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Review Test Case and procedures to ensure coverage of and conformance to business requirements;
- Design, Develop and Execute manual test cases and test scripts for functional and regression testing efforts;
- Work with team members to improve and enforce the QA standard throughout the software development life cycle.
Requirements:
- Solid background in tests automation using open source tools and scripting languages such as Java, Perl;
- Have strong interpersonal skills and team player attitude;
- Have outstanding communication skills both oral and written. Proven ability to communicate well with others;
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment, and provide timely and accurate follow up to inquiries;
- Bachelor in Computer Science or related field;
- Ability to perform all duties with the least amount of supervision;
- Should be resourceful and has a passion for continuous learning;
- Have full understanding of Software Development/Testing Life Cycle;
- Good knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JS, REST, PHP, SQL;
- Solid 3+ year expertise in front-end and back-end web applications testing;
- Have close attention to detail, follow-up, with an extreme sense of urgency and perseverance;
- Great communication skills, positive attitude and willingness to learn new things.
