Our company is looking for a Tier 2 Voice Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Works with the Service Implementation Team to complete preparations for voice installations;
  • Maintains highest standards of technical expertise and customer service;
  • Works with customers to resolve escalated issues;
  • Serves as the first level of network support to provide technical leadership and expertise for escalated network issues.

Requirements:

  • Troubleshooting abilities solving problems with data and voice networks;
  • Previous experience as a Tier I UCaas Support Analyst;
  • Demonstrated ability in Unified Communications, network support and network admin;
  • Network transmission at all seven layers of the OSI model;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in computer science or a related field;
  • Routing protocols such as BGP, IBGP, and OSPF;
  • Knowledge and experience with SIP;
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively advise and counsel both managers and non-supervisory employees on sensitive work-related issues;
  • Experience working with Broadsoft voice platform and Acme Packet SBC;
  • Experience with Session Border Controllers (SBCs);
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills;
  • Projects excellent customer relations skills in both face to face and telephone contact;
  • Excellent time management skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
