Investment Manager manages overall bank’s investment portfolio. Reviews investment strategy, seeks out new opportunities, and recommends changes in investments to manage risk and generate acceptable rate of return. Being an Investment Manager measures and evaluates return on investment and trends that may impact the portfolio. Requires a bachelor’s degree. Additionally, Investment Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Investment Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Investment Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 – 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Responsibilities:

  • Provide resource support for business development and actively look for land resources;
  • Participate in the establishment and maintenance of a good cooperative relationship with agencies and other relevant units;
  • Assist the legal team in drafting relevant legal documents, such as LOI;
  • Assist in project acquisition, cooperation and land acquisition, as well as aiding in business negotiations;
  • Responsible for collecting, sorting and confirming the information of potential lots/projects, such as land use, FAR and CAAP;
  • Assist in project development by obtaining and following up on the information of the potential project/lot;
  • Carry out project investigation, feasibility study and the initial assumption;
  • Responsible for the collection and research of information, such as the master development plan of the target city/region.

Requirements:

  • Familiar with investment management and professional knowledge related to real estate;
  • Bachelor’s or College Degree in Finance, Economics, or related is preferred;
  • Excellent communication, expression and teamwork skills;
  • Have a deeper understanding and analysis of the real estate market and an understanding of relevant laws and policies.
