Our company is looking for a Income Auditor to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out daily checks of revenue via an Operations Audit as per hotel standards;
  • Recommend improvements to processes as required;
  • Ensure Advanced Deposits are current;
  • Execute on tasks/requests as instructed by the Finance Manager and/or General Manager;
  • Reconcile telephone, Pay TV, newspaper revenue, guest laundry income, corrections and allowance;
  • Record Reset Counter;
  • Spot-check Function Diary and the settlement of function bills;
  • Check non-arrivals, late departures, no sales/voids, management bills, bill sequence and pay-outs;
  • Check bills signed to Room Account and record all covers;
  • Reconcile and monitor commissions, housekeeper and rate discrepancies, and Conference and Banqueting Revenue against daily function sheets;
  • Conducting risk assessment for the whole departmental under hotel;
  • Assist in development of the company audit plan cycle by reviewing the key risks and performance of hotel;
  • To audit all adjustment made to revenue;
  • Review the operational staff responses based on the recommendation issued and track on the closure of the audit findings;
  • Responsible of the daily audit of all records pertaining to revenue of the hotel.

Requirements:

  • Strong influencing, inter-personal and communication skills;
  • Preferably from hospitality, retail, F&B or service industry;
  • Posses a degree in accounting/ finance / professional accounting qualification;
  • Experience in the hotel / leisure / retail sector;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Proactive, independent, team player, organised, can manage pressure and deadline in multitasking environment;
  • Min 8 years of working experiences income audit;
  • A good understanding of financial operating systems and procedures;
  • Possesss strong organisational skills.
