Land Surveyor/Survey Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Land Surveyor/Survey Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Data preparation, fieldwork, data processing and plan draughting;
- Utilising GNSS, total station, laser scanners and digital levels to complete the required field tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Excellent time management skills, and the ability to get things done in an effective manner;
- A varied work history, with experience in topographic, cadastral and construction surveying in NZ;
- An appreciation of the need to keep information secure and confidential;
- A high level of adaptability, and the ability to learn new skills quickly;
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and listening communication skills;
- The ability to build new & strong relationships with clients and maintain existing ones;
- A self-directed, highly motivated team player with plenty of initiative and a ‘Can Do’ attitude;
- Proficiency with Leica survey equipment along with 12d Model, AutoCAD and LandOnline software;
- A high level of accuracy in all aspects of work;
- Have the ability to liaise effectively with clients and contractors regarding project requirements.
