Job Title: Truck Technician
Job Summary:
The Truck Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining company trucks to ensure safe and efficient operation. The position requires knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, brakes, and preventive maintenance procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of trucks.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems.
- Conduct engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and steering system repairs.
- Replace defective parts and components as needed.
- Perform oil changes, tire replacement, and other maintenance services.
- Maintain service records and repair reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns when required.
- Keep tools and work areas clean and organized.
Qualifications:
- Male, preferably with experience as a truck technician or mechanic.
- Graduate of Automotive Technology or related vocational course is an advantage.
- Knowledge of diesel engine repair and truck maintenance.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Physically fit and willing to work in the field when necessary.
- With valid driver's license (preferred).
- Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented.
