Position Overview We are looking for a Video Editor and Social Media Content Creator to produce engaging video and social media content for digital audiences. This role combines video editing, creative storytelling, and social media content production to help strengthen brand presence across platforms. You will work with creative and marketing teams to develop content concepts, edit videos for different channels, and adapt assets to meet platform requirements. The ideal candidate brings a strong eye for visual storytelling, attention to detail, and an understanding of social media formats and trends. Key Responsibilities
- Edit and produce video content for social media, digital campaigns, and other marketing channels.
- Develop short-form video content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook.
- Transform creative briefs, footage, and other source materials into polished, audience-focused video content.
- Add graphics, captions, music, transitions, and other elements to support the story and meet brand guidelines.
- Repurpose and resize video assets for different platforms, placements, and aspect ratios.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and creative teams on content ideas, briefs, and production schedules.
- Organize video files, project assets, and final exports for efficient review and reuse.
- Incorporate feedback and manage revisions while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
- Stay informed about social media trends, platform features, and effective video content formats.
- Review content performance and use relevant insights to inform future creative decisions.
- Experience in video editing, social media content creation, digital media, or a related field.
- Proficiency with video editing software such as Canva and Capcut
- Working knowledge of motion graphics or design tools such as Adobe After Effects or Photoshop is an advantage and not required.
- Experience creating and editing short-form video content for social media platforms.
- Understanding of social media formats, aspect ratios, captions, and platform-specific content requirements.
- Strong visual storytelling, editing, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, incorporate feedback, and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and an understanding of brand consistency.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with creative and marketing teams.
- A portfolio or examples of video editing and social media content work.
- Create video and social media content for a range of digital audiences and channels.
- Contribute to creative projects from concept through final edit.
- Collaborate with teams focused on marketing, design, and digital content.
- Help shape engaging visual stories and strengthen brand presence across social platforms.
