A Production Helper plays a vital role in assisting the production team with various tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The position requires versatility, physical stamina, and the ability to follow instructions carefully while supporting the setup, maintenance, and breakdown of production activities.
Setup Assistance:
- Help prepare and organize materials, tools, and equipment for production.
- Assist in setting up production areas, including setting up props, sets, and lighting.
- Load and unload production equipment and materials as required.
Operational Support:
- Assist in operating machinery or equipment under supervision.
- Monitor inventory of production supplies and report shortages or damages.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces during production.
Support During Production:
- Assist with the handling and moving of heavy materials, tools, and equipment.
- Provide logistical support on set, including running errands or fetching needed items.
- Ensure production areas are safe and clear of obstructions.
Post-Production Assistance:
- Assist with breaking down production setups and packing equipment for storage.
- Help organize and store production materials after use.
- Assist in maintaining and cleaning production tools and equipment.
General Assistance:
- Provide support to other team members as needed.
- Help with any miscellaneous tasks as directed by the production supervisor or manager.
- High school diploma or equivalent (prior experience in a production environment is a plus).
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong physical stamina to assist with lifting, moving, and standing for long periods.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable with manual labor tasks and physical work.
