The Construction Helper assists with a variety of tasks on construction sites, ensuring materials are available, equipment is ready, and general site operations run smoothly. This role supports skilled workers and contributes to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the transport and setup of materials and tools.
- Support skilled workers (e.g., carpenters, electricians) with tasks as needed.
- Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and ensuring safety.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment under supervision.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials.
- Perform basic maintenance and repair tasks on-site as directed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous construction or manual labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
- Familiarity with construction tools and safety practices is preferred.
