Product Delivery Coordinator - Electrical Engineer

Position Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Delivery

• Coordinate design, assembly, procurement, testing, and dispatch of products in collaboration with Engineering and Production Managers.

• Follow the Engineering Document Record (EDR) and project programme, highlighting and escalating any issues that may delay delivery.

• Manage allocated projects from initiation to dispatch, ensuring deadlines are met and solutions align with client specifications.

Engineering Documentation & Standards

• Prepare high-quality, error-free drawings, calculations, Bills of Materials (BOMs), battery arrangements, special assemblies, and test instructions.

• Maintain live BOMs to ensure accurate job costing and purchasing through the DBA system.

• Contribute to the standardisation of schematics and continuous improvement of documentation quality.

• Support QA procedures and assist in producing all required engineering documentation.

Procurement & Supplier Quality

• Source non-standard components required for projects.

• Ensure that incoming special goods from suppliers meet quality requirements.

• Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Produce and implement special inspection and testing procedures.

• Analyse field service defects and customer complaints, initiating corrective actions as required.

• Actively contribute to product development and re-engineering reduction initiatives.

Collaboration & Meetings

• Participate in engineering, production, and contract review meetings for incoming manufacturing orders.

• Engage in engineering discussions to support project and product improvements.

• Request additional training as needed to support professional development.

• Work additional hours when required to meet deadlines.

Other Responsibilities and/or Accountabilities

• Ensuring engineering work areas are clean and tidy.

• Ensuring compliance with company procedures and policies.

• Adhere to the company’s Integrated Management System (IMS) policies & procedures.

• Actively participate in providing information regarding the development and maintenance of the company’s IMS.

• Suggest improvements and be active in the general improvement of all systems and methods of work to ensure the company supports activities and services that are carried out reliably and cost-effectively.

• Report all known hazards and incidents to ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly as per company procedure.
