  • Meat Preparation: Cut, trim, bone, tie, and grind meats such as beef, pork, poultry, and fish to prepare them for cooking or sale.
  • Customer Service: Assist customers by providing information on various cuts of meat, cooking recommendations, and answering related inquiries.
  • Display and Packaging: Arrange meat cuts and products in display counters to appear attractive, wrap, weigh, label, and price cuts of meat appropriately.
  • Equipment Handling: Operate meat processing equipment safely and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
  • Quality Control: Inspect meats for quality, ensuring they meet established standards and are stored correctly to prevent spoilage.
    • Education and Experience: While some positions may require a high school diploma or equivalent, others may accept candidates with relevant experience in meat cutting or food preparation.
    • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, lift heavy items, and work in cold environments.
    • Skills: Knowledge of meat preparation techniques and cuts, strong communication, task management, and customer service skills
