Warehouse Assistant

About the role
The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for the efficient handling, storage, receiving, releasing, and monitoring of inventory within the warehouse. The position ensures that all warehouse activities are performed accurately, safely, and in accordance with company policies and procedures. The Warehouse Assistant supports inventory management by maintaining proper documentation, conducting stock checks, and assisting in the timely movement of materials and products.
Key responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders, delivery receipts, and other supporting documents
Conduct daily and cycle counts with inventory experience
Properly store and arrange materials, supplies, and products within designated warehouse locations
Prepare, pick, pack, and release items based on approved stock requests, sales orders, or delivery schedules
Assist in loading and unloading materials, products, and supplies
Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and warehouse transactions
Conduct regular physical inventory counts and assist in cycle counts and inventory reconciliation activities
Ensure proper labeling, identification, and organization of stocks following the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) principle
Monitor stock conditions and report damaged, expired, missing, or excess inventory to the immediate supervisor
Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety within the warehouse premises
About you
Bachelor's degree in Business administration, Supply chain management, or a related field
Experience in leading and/or participating in process improvement initiatives related to improving operating levels
Able to perform the essential duties of the position, including lifting, carrying, and moving warehouse items when necessary
Detail-oriented with good organizational and record-keeping skills
Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word) or Google Workspace tools is an advantage
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Willing to work extended hours, weekends, or holidays when required by operational needs
Valid driver's license and ability to drive motorcycle and 4-wheel vehicles
