- Transaction Processing: Accurately process customer payments, handle cash, credit/debit transactions, and provide receipts while maintaining a balanced cash register.
- Customer Service: Greet and assist customers with a friendly attitude, answer inquiries, and resolve any issues or concerns to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Store Organization & Cleanliness: Keep the checkout area neat and organized, restock merchandise when needed, and ensure a clean, safe environment for both customers and staff.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to handle cash transactions accurately, calculate change, and process payments efficiently.
- Customer Service & Communication: Friendly and professional demeanor with strong verbal communication skills to interact with customers and address their needs or concerns.
- Attention to Detail & Multitasking: Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus on tasks like scanning items and managing transactions.
