The Driver / Messenger with Paralegal Support Functions is responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation services while performing messengerial duties and limited paralegal-related tasks. The paralegal role is strictly administrative in nature and involves the filing, submission, follow-up, and retrieval of documents from courts and government agencies, as assigned.
A. Driving and Messengerial Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport personnel, documents, and materials.
- Ensure timely delivery and pick-up of documents, checks, and packages.
- Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of assigned vehicle.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules, fuel usage, and basic repairs.
- Observe traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
B. Paralegal Support Functions (Limited Scope)
- File pleadings and other legal documents with courts, quasi-judicial bodies, and government offices as instructed.
- Submit, follow up, and retrieve documents from government agencies (e.g., courts, BIR, SEC, LTO, SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, LGUs).
- Coordinate with court staff, clerks of court, and government personnel regarding document status and requirements.
- Make inquiries on case status, filing fees, schedules, and documentary requirements.
- Secure certified true copies, permits, clearances, licenses, and other official documents.
- Ensure proper acknowledgment receipts and proof of filing are obtained and submitted to the office.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent (College Graduate preferred)
- Experience Level: No prior experience required
- Skills and Competencies: Strong understanding of road safety regulations
- Responsibilities and Duties: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
- Qualities and Traits: Reliable and punctual with a professional demeanor
