DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate and assess menus to ensure nutritional balance and compliance with established standards.
- Provide recommendations for healthy, well-balanced, and budget-friendly meal plans.
- Offer guidance on special dietary requirements relevant to canteen and food service operations.
- Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and nutrition guidelines and regulations.
- Perform regular evaluations of food preparation and service practices.
- Provide professional support during audits, inspections, and quality assurance reviews.
- Prepare reports, recommendations, and corrective action plans based on assessments and findings.
- Facilitate nutrition-related training sessions and orientations for food service personnel when necessary.
- Collaborate closely with the Administrative Dietitian, Head Dietitian, and Outlet Managers to support operational goals.
MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Licensed Nutritionist-Dietitian with an active professional license recognized by the appropriate regulatory authority.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in food service operations, catering, or institutional dining management.
- Previous experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment is an advantage.
- Knowledgeable in menu development, food safety standards, and nutrition program assessment.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Filipino, written and verbal.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of analyzing and interpreting data related to waste management, emissions/effluents, unit measurements, percentage calculations, and reporting.
- Able to effectively collaborate and coordinate with Administrative Dietitians, Head Dietitians, and Outlet Managers.
NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related discipline.
- Previous consulting experience in canteen operations, corporate dining, schools, or institutional food service environments.
- Proven experience in providing technical support and recommendations during audits, inspections, and quality assessment reviews.
