POSITION: QA Supervisor

SECTION/GROUP: QA

REPORTS TO: Section Head BASIC FUNCTION: Responsible for the planning, leading, organizing, motivating, and controlling of all activities and personnel to achieve the goals and objectives set by the Section Head. Ensure that all required resources are readily available for use. Ensures that the final product corresponds to customer requirements. Addresses all the quality issues that arise during the product's manufacturing before its delivery.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

1. Planning – Plans to establish goals in meeting the set objectives and targets by using the available time and resources to reduced wastages.

2. Leading – Leads subordinates. Monitors progress, evaluates outcomes, and improves the section/group’s efficiency and effectiveness.

• Knowledge of group members’ performance, behavior, skills status, and competency requirements.
• Knowledge and implements Tsukiden’s Company Policies and Procedures.
• Communicate and support changes to company policy or procedures to ensure team members are up to date.
• Able to identify needed training in support of team members.

3. Organizing – Organizes work activities and assignments and allocation of resources across the section/group. Assigns work to others, considering priorities, employees’ workloads and skills, and the work that needs to be accomplished.

4. Motivation – Motivates subordinates to work at their most efficient levels to be more productive and with quality. Identifies appropriate training needs and conducts orientation, coaching, and counseling for employees’ development.

• Initiate, recommend, investigate, troubleshoot, and provide solutions and actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to the products/process, and quality system.
• Knowledge and applications of the Performance Appraisal System
• Ability to communicate/discuss performance infractions and other matters.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.

5. Controlling – Controls and observes the performance of subordinates so that potential problems can be identified in a timely manner and corrective action can be taken when necessary. Implements corrective or preventive actions to bring the section/group activities into compliance with a management plan. Improves preventive and corrective actions to avoid the recurrence of the problem.

• Knowledge of Inventory Management
• Working knowledge of materials, tooling, machine tools, and manufacturing processes.
• Working knowledge of Manufacturing Control Systems.
• Working knowledge of a safety management program.
• Ability to check reports accurately & correctness of contents and provide proper feedback when necessary.
• Problem analysis and resolution
• Application and implementation of ISO 9001:2008 procedures
• Application and implementation of 5S principles
• Application and implementation of ISO, EMS policies and procedures.

College Graduate Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the related job or industry With excellent management and leadership skills, Computer Literate HR will conduct an initial interview via Zoom or call. As of now, we don’t have a night shift; however, if our production peaks, we may consider 2 shifts, so their schedule may change.
