Marketing Specialist (Remote)

Job Summary: The Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning and executing marketing activities that generate qualified leads, strengthen brand awareness, and support client retention for the MSP. This role blends content creation, digital marketing, event support, and vendor co-op marketing coordination, working closely with sales and leadership to align messaging with service offerings and growth goals. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a marketing calendar covering email campaigns, social media, blog content, and lead-generation offers.
• Write and edit marketing content (website copy, case studies, service one-pagers, email newsletters) explaining technical IT/MSP services in clear, client-facing language.
• Manage the company website, social media accounts, and marketing automation/CRM tools to track campaign performance and lead flow.
• Coordinate co-op marketing funds and joint campaigns with technology vendors and distributors.
• Support sales with collateral, proposal templates, and pipeline nurture campaigns.
• Plan and coordinate participation in trade shows, webinars, and local networking/community events.
• Manage online reputation, including client review generation (Google, industry directories) and testimonial collection.
• Track and report on marketing KPIs (website traffic, lead volume, campaign conversion, cost per lead) to leadership.
• Maintain brand consistency across all client- and prospect-facing materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of marketing experience;  B2B, technology, or MSP/IT services industry  experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with  email marketing and CRM/marketing automation  platforms.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for a business audience.
• Experience with  website content management systems  (e.g., WordPress) and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express).
• Working knowledge of social media platforms and analytics tools.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Haves):

• Familiarity with  MSP/IT industry  vendors, peer groups, or co-op marketing programs.
• Experience with PSA/CRM platforms common to MSPs (e.g., ConnectWise, Autotask, HubSpot).
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and paid digital advertising (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads).
