- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to the needs of students.
- Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
- Assess and track students' progress through regular evaluations, assignments, and tests.
- Provide individualized support to students who require extra assistance or enrichment.
- Maintain regular communication with students, parents, and school staff regarding student performance and well-being.
- Participate in school meetings, professional development workshops, and extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching strategies.
- Foster a growth mindset and encourage critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills in students.
- Ensure that all teaching materials are up to date and relevant to the curriculum.
- Enforce classroom rules and manage student behavior effectively and fairly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Valid teaching certification or license, as required by the state or country.
- Proven experience as a teacher or educator (minimum of 1-2 years preferred).
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Passion for teaching and fostering student development.
- Knowledge of child development, instructional strategies, and classroom management techniques.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools to enhance learning.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address challenges in a constructive manner.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth.
